Trunks, speakers, players, audio
The installation represents a forest of trees filled with sounds. Dead and alive at the same time, it is in a borderline state: the trunks torn from the ground no longer grow, and only the sound in them is a "sign of life".
Projected onto the suspended trunks, the sound makes each tree vibrate, turning it into an extension of the speaker. Thus, the sound can be heard in the air - only high tones go into space, but felt with the skin, hugging the tree, leaning your ear against it. Each trunk has its own audio track projected - a distorted sound of nature created artificially: by the granular synthesis method.
